How can I Help?

Children’s library books — Mission of Hope has established 10 elementary school libraries. Fundraising activities are needed to purchase Spanish children’s textbooks and library books.


**Scholastic Book Club project — Teachers are encouraged to use their bonus points from Lucky Books and Troll book sales to purchase childrens books for the Honduran libraries.

Fundraising events — Got ideas? Creative volunteers needed to raise funds for the many needs of this mission.


Volunteer laborers — A few physically strong men who are willing to work hard are needed for the February, 2011 building project.

Financial support — 100% of donated funds are spent to directly help the truly needy families in Honduras. Administrative services are donated by Shepherd’s Gate Lutheran Church. Team members are required to provide for all their own expenses. Tax deductible contributions may be written to Shepherd's Gate Lutheran Church on behalf of the Mission of Hope-Honduras.
